No one stops the Hand of God

No one stops the Hand of God

No one stops the Hand of God

When King Herod the great heard that a king was born in Jerusalem, he felt threatened just by a simple and innocent enquiry of the Magi (Matt 2:3). He was threatened NOT BECAUSE HE WAS DOING ALL WELL BUT BECAUSE HE WAS SO MUCH MATERIALLY ATTACHED TO THE THRONE, the same throne of David such that the throne became his god and it made him too insecure.

Actually, Herod was being pursued by his own evil shadows–his insecurities and so slaughtering the innocent children (Matt 2 : 16), was the only way his dark heart and mind could conceive. He never reckoned that actually, there was a God, for he would have sought deeply what the birth of a child could mean for his old age and his throne. By the way, no one took away his throne for his son succeeded him (Matt 2:22).

However, in their wholly underserved death the children stand for the many innocent victims in all spheres of life which you may belong to, the victims of well constructed personal or general evil systems run by people like Herod, who blindly pursue profit and power, not to do any good but to advance their greediness, nepotism, selfishness, etc, which also you may belong to.

Nevertheless, EVERY FOOLISHNESS, FOLLY AND WICKED THOUGHTS “OF MEN” ARE KNOWN TO GOD AND HIS FRIENDS. Thus, God revealed to the Magi the secrets thoughts of Herod and his cohorts so that they had to follow another way home (Matt 2:12). And God had to reveal to Jesus’ family the the evil thoughts and temporal time of Herod and they had to run and return at the appointed time (Matt 2:13;19 -20).

In all, Herod and all his allies perished and the time for the Lord stayed eternally. Herod couldn’t stop the hand of God and the oracles which he knew and that’s why he had to consult (Matt 2:4). Yet, after consulting, he moved against God. That’s shows how evil could blind someone’s conscience, knowledge, will, and decision.

To all those reading this I say to you: “don’t be afraid of Herod nor his cohorts, for these too shall pass away. BE A FRIEND OF GOD AND, ALWAYS PRAY AND DO,” you will understand the foolishness of human conspiracies, intrigues, and machinations against God in the the name of pride, selfishness, greediness, nepotism, hatred, etc, and you shall always be at peace and laugh like God would always laugh at us.

As you are reading this, don’t be quick ask to why it was written, but ask why it did strike your heart like the Sword of God’s Word (Acts 4:12-13).
