Juju Officially in Court: Religion and Professional Codes of Dressing

There was quiet pandemonium and shock at the Supreme Court as Chief Michael Omirhobo, a Lawyer, walked into the Supreme Court chambers dressed in a traditionalist attire with his lawyer’s wig and robe as accessories!

When the Learned Lawyer walked into the Supreme Court, the Justices who were on seat looked up in shock, looked at themselves and without a word, went on recess.

In an interview he granted few minutes later, Chief Omirhobo stated that since the Supreme Court has ruled last week that students could wear Hijab to schools in Lagos, that means the Court has given every religion a right to dress the way the believers wish to dress and that he has decided to dress like a traditionalist/native doctor from now on to court since the Supreme Court has given religious freedom to all religions!

According to Lawyers, there is really nothing anyone can do to him based on the ruling of the Supreme Court as the Supreme Court cannot reverse itself on this without setting a firestorm precedent. This is because every Supreme Court judgement or court opinion logically sets precedent for future rulings. 😃

Therefore, two things are involved: It’s either the Federal Government wants order, or anarchy. If they want order, then the ruling of the supreme court needs to be repealed. If they want anarchy, they should and must allow everyone to wear according to one’s religious inclination irrespective of any parlance: education, judiciary, civil service, etc.

Give to Caesar what belongs to Caesar and give to God what belongs to God/god.
