Femi Fani Kayode’s Defection

I always laugh whenever we cry about the defection of a Nigerian politician to another party.

Anyway, Nigerian politicians are known for cross carpeting, some for good, while others, shamelessly.

However, the outrageous thing in Fani Kayode’s case for some is “double mouth or hypocrisy”; After vowing that till “Thy kingdom come,” he will never ever join APC, he eventually did.

But, let me ask you:

What’s the difference between APC and PDP if not that APC is now the ruling party. And almost all party members now in APC were once in PDP.

Name one Nigerian politician that wouldn’t do what Kayode did even in the future?

The question should be: why did FFK join APC after all these public vows he took against APC?

Ohh, you are now thinking? Now you know your brothers.

You think that they were for you before? No, they were actually using you to get what they want.

Now, it’s left for us to use them get what we as a people want. We must learn how to engage them.

Till then, keep on crying and castigating him/them, nothing is gonna change for this is Nija.
